		<description>Thank you so much for such an important post! Yes, I agree with you that choosing the right diet is one of the most important keys to success in achieving your weight loss goal.  Besides your 6 diet tips, I would like to add few diet tips which I learned from a fitness guide. 

The tips are added below: 

Prepare food instead of eating out - The biggest advantage of a home-cooked meal is that you know exactly what went into it.  With food ordered at a restaurant, you never really know.  This is true for both fast-food and sit-down restaurants. 

Have healthy snacks available - It&#039;s normal to get hungry between meals.  If you decide to snack, make sure it&#039;s healthy.  Pieces of fruit or a granola bar are great examples of a healthy snack. 

Eat slowly - Of all the diet tips, this one is the least talked about.  Once you start eating, it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to get the &quot;I&#039;m full&quot; signal from your stomach.  Eating fast is the easiest way to over-eat, and you don&#039;t want that.  No matter how hungry you are, remember to take your time and eat slowly. 

Keep an eye on your drink calories - If you tend to drink soda (or pop) like water, it would be a good idea to either cut way back or stop completely.  Pop contains lots of empty calories (calories your body will store as fat because it can&#039;t use them for energy). 

Never shop for groceries when you are hungry - This one might sound too silly to be part of a diet tips list, but it&#039;s very effective.  If you aren&#039;t hungry, you&#039;ll make healthier food choices at the grocery store.  You&#039;ll buy what you know you should, not what you are hungry for.</description>
